Emotional Freedom Techniques presented by Theresa Radecki

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a method of tapping certain points along traditional Chinese acupuncture meridians in order to resolve emotional, behavioral, and physical problems. By tapping on these points while keeping a specific problem in mind, negative energy is cleared, often in a rapid and dramatic way.

Theresa will be demonstrating how this technique can benefit our animal friends.

Is Oil the Lifeblood of Mother Earth?

The following letter was just sent by Chief Arvol Looking Horse (Keeper of the Sacred White Buffalo Calf Pipe) to the world’s religion and spiritual leaders.

It asks us all to help in healing the Gulf of Mexico oil spill as well as all the other disasters humans have created on our Mother Earth.

P&G Expands Further in 'Super Premium' Pet Food Segment
CINCINNATI, May 5, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE: PG) has signed an agreement to acquire Natura Pet Products, Inc., a privately-held pet food business based in Davis, California.

This move enables P&G to expand into the attractive "holistic and naturals" segment of the pet food category, complementing P&G's current Iams and Eukanuba brands and helping the Company advance its overall growth strategy of "reaching more consumers in more parts of the world more completely."

To date, there have been numerous monitoring studies that have confirmed the existence of very low concentrations of animal pharmaceuticals and hormones, especially in surface waters. The next important question is whether those residues are of any significance in the environment, including questions about how long they persist, where they come from, how they move, whether they accumulate in environmental sinks, and what kinds of biological effects they have. The most prominent controversy may be the one generated around the possibility of antibiotics inducing or sustaining antibiotic-resistant microorganisms in the environment. Another focus is on the hormonal effects on fish and wildlife, especially as the hormones (synthetic or natural) influence reproduction and sexual development in wild mammals, birds, fish, and amphibians.

You would think that organic eggs would be your best choice when picking them up at the grocery store. However, most states have laws that make them illegal unless all the eggs that are sold commercially are processed in a way that could damage them.

Some states require that all eggs receive a chlorine bath and mineral oil coating before they are nestled into their cartons.

There are vast differences in how eggs are processed and handled, even under the "certified organic" label.
